deerpark30 The answer you are looking for is "Yes" it will scratch the bottom of the board, over time it will be pretty harsh on it if you plan on doing all the time over the summer. So if you plan on doing this it would be an good idea to have a "beater" board to "f*** up". And also the water would help with less friction of the board on the turf. GUDLUCK have fun. Lol dont pass out in the heat

JWages I remember seeing a video on here of someone doing something like that. I think they just made sure it was soaked with water.

Jibbing Help?

So, i'm going to make a jib set-up this summer, but i have a question, is astro-turf bad on your board? because, i was wondering if it was cause too much friction on the base. i do have back up boards i could use, but i'd rather know the answer to this before i order it.
