Phedder Demo days. Never had the opportunity before, last weekend was a Burton demo, this weekend got some time on Salomon and Capita. Trying new boards is fun

Looked through the Salomon 18 Catalog mostly spec hunting, going to be a very hard choice next season between the Ultimate Ride and Sick Stick. That Quadralizer sidecut is the truth.

f00bar $25 private lessons

Addressed my occasional heel side hard carve washouts, landed my first heel side 180s, and while i didn't land it, I didn't break anything trying some 180 board slides on box.

May not be much, but I did just turn 46!

I actually own skis, and want to qualify to patrol on skis and telemark in addition to my snowboard qualification!

I still MUCH prefer snowboarding over any other downhill discipline, but I feel that as an instructor/evaluator it would be good for me to be able to say that I've qualified to patrol on everything in a mountain setting.

162 Jones Explorer.....

I freakin' LOVE this deck!!!

Last night was hard, rutted, chopped and bumped to hell hardpack just shy of boilerplate,...

This thing was just railing turns and blasting up, over and thru dat shit like it wuz nuthin!!!

I would never blame my equipment for my meager riding skillz,... but Im beginning to think this deck might be letting me ride waaaaaay better than my skillz would suggest!!

Normally in condtions like that, I woulda been speed checking, ruddering and riding timid as fuck!

But last night I was absolutely charging that shit!!!

Frakin' awesome deck!!!

(....btw @neni and et al, no sign of that cold this morning!!! )

Sinister_Snow That this weekend is looking like decent weather to board in! The Sierras have been getting hammered which is great but it's been a blizzard the last two weekends I was able to go up, and I had a cabin reserved for one of them .

Their instagram is blowing up showing tons of snow! I think it will be awesome. Have fun!
