Malavitas

I don't have any experience with the other EST bindings mentioned, but after a few days of icey groomers and small jumps I give the 2010 Malavita's two thumbs up. I really like the toe-caps, asymetric ankle straps and the supportive yet supple highbacks.

purpleian907 also look at malavitas, ther are more for park than cartels, but great all mountain binding

Nivek I think the new Cartels are also too stiff for the park. I prefer the highback on the Malavita

Rufus Get the Cartels, they will be great for what you want to do. I have both Cartels and CO2s, linvillegorge is correct, the CO2s are too stiff for the park.

Nivek Malavita or Mission.

TomasZ No, I just want to do my best to take everyone's advice on not skimping out on equipment. And I doubt the CO2's are for me anyway because of what you just said. I have till about Thanksgiving to decide, too but I'd like to be prepared when I walk in to the shop etc. Thanks for getting back with me.

linvillegorge I still say Cartels. CO2s are still going to be awfully stiff for park riding. I think the Cartels are the better all-around binding if you're wanting to do a good amount of park.

If you're the type of person that just has to shell out big bucks to feel like you're getting quality equipment, the get the CO2s.

TomasZ Haha yesssss! Those are the ones I'm leaning towards. Thanks for your honest opinion despite your feelings toward Burton.
Anyone else have some ideas they want to throw out?

--bigtime-- Save on Burton CO2 EST Snowboard Bindings Oxide - Mens Snowboards Binding Snowboarding Gear Equipment

linvillegorge Since you're dealing with the EST, go Cartels and don't look back. I'm no Burton fan in the least, but the Cartels are one of the best damn all-around bindings out there. Period. Get them.
