akrider01 Nope, the board's perfect for her...maybe a bit much for resort riding if thats what you're doin. a bigger board is just a little harder to keep control of but it'll teach you faster if you have to work harder right? and wear a helmet please.

bb6kid nope thats a good size, height is just a small way to find a board, it usually goes more by weight, i weigh 140 and got a 149

Think I made a wrong choice. GF's board too big?

Sup guys!

Read some great reviews about Atomic Fallen Angel boards. I found one for a killer deal. Thing is it's a 147. My gf is 5'3.5'' 130 lbs. The board rides slightly above her nose. Barely. Think this board is way too big for her to learn on / get better before she buys a more serious board? Or will it work for now? I got it pretty cheap so.
