It sounds like you don't need a wide board and the 153 should fit fine.
For boots, it's best to go try a bunch on. But if you have to buy online measure your foot without socks. Press your foot against the wall and mark where your toes extend to. Now measure that distance. Also, 10cm width, seems pretty wide if the length is 27. If you are indeed 10cm, you'll probably need a boot that is wider. 32 Lashed and Nike Kaijus I know are wider boots.
Don't size up your boots to get more width. Look for a boot that is wider. Good luck.

OK sounds like you're definitely not a size 13 shoe, probably a 9.
At that size you won't have any difficulty on a regular width board.
The 159cm board is way too big for you at 135 pounds. 153 might even be a little long but manageable.

Ok. Good idea. Thanks.
@latest poster: I'm 5'10, 135 pounds.

For starters measure your foot without socks. If your measurement of 27cm is correct, that's a Men's US shoe size of 9 maybe 8.5 w/o the socks.
How tall are you? It'll give us an idea if you're measuring your foot wrong. (if you're 5feet tall, I highly doubt you have size 12 or 13 boots).

|boarder27||My bad... youre actually a 9.5 if you are 27cm. I would just go into a local store and get your boots FIRST. Make sure they fit properly and then get the board based on that size. You might be able to get away with a 153 at 9.5.|

I can't prevent that other board/boots confuse me though. It was a 155 board, and the boots didn't come anywhere near either edge of the board. Is 153 that much smaller?

27cm is 11.5
Your board is too small. Go with the 156w (as in 156 wide)

I think its best if we just forget that bit about an earlier pair of boots. They are five years old, and I can't even confirm that I read the size right. Again, what I know for certain is that my foot with sock on is 27 cm long and 10 cm wide. I will use that chart to size myself. It sounds like I just misinterpreted the size of the boot I used to wear (it was too big for me anyway.)
Sorry for making this so difficult. I'm not trying to. Thanks for all the quick and helpful responses.

|JoeR||At 135 lbs., the 159 was probably too big for you, unless you are planning to do nothing but powder surfing. You're near the very bottom of the weight range. The 153 is actually a much better size. In terms of width, you need to figure out what your real boot size is, but if it's actually around a 9, you should be fine on most regular-width boards. Remember that stance width and binding angles come into play here. And a little overhang on each side is normal, and necessary.|
