"Wet granular" sounds like sno-cone snow to me, which means it'll push aside easily. Look out for dark patches, i.e. anything not white.

Toecutter Yes, there's a chance it'll get ruined (e.g., a tree could fall on top of it and snap it in two). It's not likely though. If you guys will be at the bottom then you probably won't be going too fast anyway.

The base could get scratched on bare dirt, but a little bit won't ruin it. It will get banged up eventually. Bigger gouges can be repaired.

Try not to run directly into anything solid. If you're really concerned then don't take it with you.

Snowboard Question!!

I just got a brand new board and want to take it up to mountian high tomorrow but they havent had muchs now and the snow levels are between 6 inches to 10 inches and im wondering if there is a chance that the board can get ruined due to not to much snow and bare spots and such??!?!?!?!?And my friend im going with isnt that good so il prlly be towards the base of the mountian for most of the day
