SimonB Here you can see the 1993 Emma Peel: Sims Snowboards, Boards, Winter 1992-93

4X4 insert got out the year after that. And CAP construction maybe a year or 2 after... Been a while!!! I actually remember having this exact issue of TWS...

BWaite Thanks... guess to me it was money well spent then. Was setup w/ binding and a bag so...? BUT the ONLY time I have put my skis back on was at Squaw to do some steeps.
Way happy I have went the way of the board!

Anyway, curious cuz seen the one in pic on Ebay listed at over $300. Different model maybe?

Guess just will keep it and go for a new Lib Tech then!

linvillegorge The board definitely looks old. I hate to tell you, but if it really is a '92 and you paid $200 for it three years ago, your buddy stuck it to you hard.

There really is no such thing as "classic" snowboards unless you're talking WAY old school like the old Burton Backhills or something. They really don't have much if any collector's value.

You should hold onto to have a beater board to ride in poor coverage conditions, not because it's a "classic".

If you're happy with the way it rides, that's all that really matters at the end of the day though.

Help with my board! Worth it?

Hello everyone...

I started boardin three years ago after skiing for eons! I started on a board that I bought from a buddy for $200.

Figured it was time to upgrade my equipment and started to look around at what my old one was worth if I should even sell it.

From what I can tell it is a 1992 Emma P?? looks similar to the Pic here. Sounds like it is a Classic and I should just hold onto it? Never have road anything else so curious how good of board it is and where I should go from here. LOVE the board but!??!

Any help would b great!
