|mtnman23||Just wanted to post an update. Rome took care of the broken piece and had a new one at my house within 3 days after I opened Warranty Ticket. So you guys were right about Rome's warranty department...thanks!|

Help, toe strap snapped after 1 day!!!
I bought a pair of Rome SDS bindings at the end of last season (April timeframe) from an online store. Today was the first day I used them and after about 3 hours, the plastic strap on the toe strap freakishly snapped.
Now I know I'm SOL as far as the store I bought them from is concerned, but do you guys think I should contact Rome? Can something like this be fixed on the relatively cheap at a ski shop? The principle side of me says contact Rome and tell them about their faulty product because something like this shouldn't happen after 3 hours of use, but the pragmatic side says I want to snowboard again soon and getting this fixed from Rome if they do decide to help will not be a quick turnaround.
Anyone encounter this scenario before? Thanks!
