AcroPhile Thanks for the advice guys! The ones I was looking at were the Smartys. Sounds like it should fit.

grafta yup, should be all good. i'm bout 31" - 32" jeans and medium 686 fits me good, no belt even. fit depends on which model pants these are. smarty pants are generally pretty baggy, some the other lines are more fitted etc. you'd have to check up

oldlady with regards to looks- depends how you like your outerwear to fit. i prefer mine just a little baggy. (but not too ridiculous)

with regards to fit- i'm 5'7ish, 30 waist. bought medium 686 mannual militants and they fit fine once i used the adjustable straps to tighten them a little.

686 Snowboard Pants Sizing Help!

I'm buying a pair of snowboard pants used from someone. They are a medium size. How does this compare to my Burton size medium? I'm concerned about them running a little large on me. My jeans are are 30 or 31 waist and a 30 inseam. If anyone has any experience with 686 pants, let me know.
