That is my primary board, with Rome Arsenal bindings. Love it! It's a true directional camber board. Really stiff, great edgehold, initiates turns very easily, and can power through all kinds of crud. If you plan on messing around in the park a lot or doing a lot of jibbing, I'd look at a twin shaped board, but if will be doing mostly freeriding, that's a perfect board for you, even as a beginner (it was my first board and still my favorite).
Depending on if it's the right size, of course.
