Missing skier found after night in woods near Killington | The Burlington Free Press | Burlington, Vermont

A skier from New Jersey who had been missing since Sunday was found unharmed Monday afternoon, the Vermont State Police said.

Gustavo Oascar Iriarte, 45, of Lyndhurst was one of seven skiers who became lost Sunday in three incidents across the state.

Nothing had been heard from Iriarte since about 6:30 p.m. Sunday until he was found on a snowmobile trail in Mendon at about 1:30 p.m. Monday. He told authorities he was fine except for cold toes and hands and was taken to Rutland Regional Medical Center for evaluation, police said.

tekniq33 wow that is bad news. With these temps and windchills that does not bode well for that guy. Never ride alone off trail people.

Hope they find him and he is ok
