Denver = a mountain town = myth

as far as humidity I could only see it being a factor if you had some slight delam issues or some base or top sheet damage.... the entire east coast has humidity including Mass NY NC Tenn and NJ where theres plenty of snowboarding and Im sure no one really worries about humidity protection in those places

Chance42 Just keep it inside of your house, where you have a/c. Heaters and air conditioners dehumidify the air a bit, you know how when you go outside the air feels heavier even if it is roughly the same temp? You can slap some vaseline or something on the top sheet if you want haha. That makes 3 NS boards in LA... have my new SL on the way and a banana magic in the closet. Now if only there were closer mountains ...

Humidity and water are two very different things though. I could imagine some boards being affected by humidity. But I'm not sure wax will prevent humdity from affecting the board materials unless you envelop the whole damn thing with a solid layer of wax.

baldylox IMO, it's complete bullshit. It's nice to wax your board before putting it away so you're ready to go when it snows, but Ptex doesn't evaporate and neither does wax.

Being that you live in a highly humid environment, you may want to leave wax on it (on the edge too) so that it doesn't rust.
