i have a 686 jacket and some smarty pants. the pants have what look like a belt loop located below the belt level, that line up with the snaps on your jacket. five, believe. you just shove the snap end through and bring it back around the outside and snap it together. seems to work pretty good. just dont forget to unsnap em... im sure i looked like the nUb i am trying to wrestle my jacket around halfway off to get that last snap.
i think they did help, though... esp being a beginner, i spent lots of time diving into teh powder in all sorts of odd directions.

686 Smarty: Powder Skirt And Pants?
I got a great deal on a 686 Smarty jacket (40% off already sale price!) that came with a powder skirt. I have some pants already, but their not 686.
So, the poweder skirt has snaps and loops that I assume attached to 686 Smarty pants equiped with special clasps and snaps. But, upon revisiting the ski store here and looking at the 686 Smarty pants, I didn't see anything special about attaching the powder skirt to the pants...
Am I just supposed to loop the 686 Smarty jacket powder skirt loops that snap through my belt loops on my pants or around my belt?
