I'm gonna give this company LuggageForward a try. They specialise in shipping excess baggage & sporting goods. They seem to be the cheapest I actually found Fedex pretty steep, unless I'm going to the wrong part of their website.
I might report on how these guys do, since I haven't seen them mentioned on the forum before.

|PredaClone||DHL is ok for shipping overseas. I don't even think they do domestic anymore. Try Fedex?|

Anyone recommend a courier?
I'm shipping 2 boards from California to Japan. Could anyone recommend a courier to use?
I heard USPS is good, and to stay away from UPS & DHL.
I'm sending a 157 and a 148, so the total length in the box is about 63inch/160cm.
I already tried to get a quote on the USPS website but it said the package was too long. Surely that can't be too long, what happens to folks shipping big mountain boards and longboards for surfing.
