Karasene haha yeah.. "under the radar" is right I know that's a big "no no" up in Maine.. the dam wont let you through to put in without signing over your life and getting the information of every paddler in your raft but eh I didn't see nothing.

I was going to guide next summer.. but having the best of both worlds I'm thinking I'm going to get into whitewater kayaking instead of being a commercial pawn.. which will allow me to be full time night shift bartender so I'll stay happy. I know plenty of private rafters to get out as much as I want. I know there's a thread for this. but I'd love to see more footage of the bigger stuff if you have any!

haha well now that I've seen what kinda rafting you meant I guess the chances are less likely.. but I have a friend who works in the snowboarding scene in Idaho and is big into rafting named Dylan Metz.. Thought I'd see if it was a small world.

..and this summer has been great! Nice and cool. Only a handful of hot days.. AND an early take off for some pow. Only 2 days left!

SwissMiss The IPE fair is coming up, and every year this means summers come and gone. But I'm quite happy about it.
I've purchased my seasons pass and I'm ready to do this winter! So hurry up!

NWBoarder Sweet party barge Idaho. We're just finally getting some summer out here in Western Washington. And even then, we only get a couple of nice days before the clouds and rain show right back up. So no, it is not winter yet, but summer for me has felt more like an early fall or extended spring. I would be OK with a couple more weeks of nice weather before we dive back into winter.

The Owyhee is on my to do list as well as Hells canyon. I pretty much live on the Deschutes River on my weekends this time of year. Love snowboarding but never in a hurry to see summer end.
HAHAHAHAHA not quite that kind of rafting. Ive done the upper salmon when it was around 70k...but this was more of a relaxing float...of the boise river

I give you, party barge 2.0. 6'x10' deck on 4 55 gallon barrels, comfortably seats 4. This pic was taken after we finished, and we just threw all of out stuff on top of it so we could carry it. The cooler was next to the chair, all of the life jackets were tucked under the chair, we had a radio but it got taken out by a low branch, and we have 3 inflatable rafts we were towing behind so we could get out when it got too shallow over the rapids.

Hellude The leaves on the birch trees are turning yellow, and there is snow outside the hockey arena.

Always a good sign.
