|Jakevendetta||Do you think I could get some decent boots for somewhere between 100-140? Do you think those 686 pants look like they would be decent for me? Haha while I'm asking questions, for an intermediate rider like me that is just starting to do park stuff does my Lib Tech setup sound decent?|

Hey that's just my opinion.... Someone else may have another idea of what's right and fair.
I'm pretty anti getting old gear though. Tech has come so far in the past 5 years that it's not worth buying old stuff because you can get a season or two old gear for cheap.
I almost always buy a season old gear that's on sale rather than new.... I ride a brand new board and boots and that's about it

|Jakevendetta||Thanks for your advice, it sounds like I was about to make a bad mistake D:|

I'd start with 20 and wouldn't go over 30...
Those bindings are probably all dry rotted and ready to snap the first time he straps em on.
An offer of 40-50 for the nicer setup would be ok

|Jakevendetta||My friend cant afford to buy a good set of gear for this season, how much do you think he should offer for the extra set of gear that guy wanted to throw in? $30-$40?|

|Milo303||I'd say that's better than trading your entertainment and money for some guys crap he doesn't want anymore|

|Jakevendetta||Would I be a lot better off just ordering these 686 :: Rhythm I can get those for $65. And then just using the rest of my cash to buy a nice pair of boots? I'm not in dire need for the board, I have a 159 Lib Tech TRS with Salomon SPX pro bindings, they are a few years old but I'm pretty confident they can handle my mountain/park needs.|

The pants are ok...
The boots, who knows if they'll work for you...
The bindings, eh, they're shit Burton.
Again though, if it's the only way you can get on the hill, do it!
But if you have some patience, keep your eye out for some sales on new stuff. All of his gear is several years old. I can't place those burton bindings, but they're probably 07's or something.
Shred gear de values sooooooo fast because of new tech
I think you should save up some more money and buy what you want. Here's the best tip you'll get, go to your local store and try on a bunch of boots and see what fits you best. It all starts with a quality/comfy boot.

|Jakevendetta||Is it really that bad? I was thinking that the pants and the boots might be worth it, and I thought the burton bindings on the alpha numeric might be decent. I have about $200 that I could use to just flat out buy some pants and some boots, would I be a lot better off just doing that? The friend was gonna buy the extra set of gear for $30 just because he didnt have enough to pay for a pass this season and a good set of gear.|

If I had all that crap sitting around for years and didn't ride anymore, I'd trade it for an xbox and $80.
If I had an xbox and $80, I would only trade for that crap if I didn't have any other way to get on the hill.
It just depends on how bad you want on the hill and what your options are. The gear is shit but it's better than nothing
