onefutui2e damn man, that sucks. like i said, i'd be willing to take whatever amtrak, greyhound, shuttle, etc. that's available to a closer village/town so the pickup won't be as bad for my friends. oh can tell how badly i wanna go back up there too as i'm scheming to see what combination of flights, cabs, and trains can get me there (or at least close enough) .

and yeah, i know it's closer to 3 hours, but when you get caught behind a slower driver on the back roads it easily stretches to 4 haha. now i just need to negotiate a few favors.

Mysticfalcon Unfortunately the only good news I have is that it is more like 3 hours than 4. Pretty much all of Vermont is the middle of nowhere. Ther is no good way to get from anywhere to anywhere else without a car.

onefutui2e i have a few friends driving up for presidents' day weekend from new york city, but unfortunately i won't be able to join them until saturday night (riding sunday/monday). my original plan was to fly into burlington saturday night and have them pick me up, but it'd really be asking a lot for them to essentially go 4 hours back and forth after a day of riding.

is there a way for me to get from burlington airport to jay peak or at least to some other town closer by? i checked greyhound but they have nothing, amtrak has service to st. albans (with ground transportation to jay peak for which i've found no details for) but it doesn't seem to coincide with my flight.

i tried calling their desk for information but they sounded very impatient/rude and just replied with a simple, "no."

onefutui2e i was there until christmas eve last week; if it wasn't for the instructors giving out lessons it would've been so bust but they were pretty chill and my buddies and i picked up a new bag of tricks. it was a good way to kill time for sure. on our last day it snowed and they finally opened up the flyer quad. we were maybe the first few groups on the run and it was amazing, though after 5-6 runs things started going to shit due to people traffic. by the end of that day we saw them breaking out the aerial tram and cleaning it up. such a tease...

the instructors we chilled and rode with were awesome people and made up for the lack of snow. they said they've noticed that whenever the season started late in the past, that they'd usually run late into spring as a result (one of them told me they remained open through may last year). so hopefully that's true...

dice Haha... Thnx! I'm guessing it's bad everywhere. Have not been to Tremblant once yet (I usually go every w/e) even though they have 70% trails open due to lack of snow.
Spring conditions I don't mind. Ice is what I hate, but will live with if must be.
I see Northway, Montrealer & Upper goat run are open! Should be fun! Are these trails in good shape?
Worst case... we got the water park to enjoy.
