slyder My kids had several models of the Skull Candy and we have had many many issues.
Currently they are using the Titan's and they seem ok but have yet to be under a helmet, mostly in the tread mill at the gym.
I won't ever buy them again....

MistahTaki I had skull candy titan ear buds and the cord was wrapped in nylon. they were very durable but one day the cord went bad where it connects to the jack. I got a warranty replacement for free for the newer version that didnt have the cord wrapped and it broke after a week of use. in my opinion they are over priced for the quality of sound they produce. I noticed on the titans that when the bass was really high it distorted. i do not plan on buying headphones from skull candy again, they look cool though.

skullcandy = quantity>quality

TYrice93 Has anyone tried the new Skullcandy Fixed earbuds or earphones? They are supposed to stay in your ear and not fall out..

legallyillegal the headphones themselves arent going to break, what will go is the cord, you want something that has nylon sheathing

TYrice93 I used the Skullcandy Icon 2's one year and those were really nice. They are over the ear type, but are prettynice and also have a mic control so you can change the song without digging for your iPod. They are super flexible and water resistant. Although I often had to turn the volume up a bit when it was windy.
Another great in-ear pair are the 50/50's from Skullcandy. Thay also include the mic control.. Another is the Skullcandy Titan, BUT they don't have the mic :/
