AdamBQ Yesterday at Louise was good. . . Today was ridiculous.
Got into the back bowls just as the opened it, and same for Paradise bowl. Even the last run of the day I was still tracing fresh uncrossed lines through glades. . . Amazing day!

roremc Sounds like the avy was pretty low key and the guy didnt get buried. Not sure if you guys read this but its an interesting read on mountain operations without any marketing bullshit. This weeks article is on the avy near the Ptarmigan quad Lake Louise Lowdown | An Inside Look at The Lake Louise Ski Area in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada.

Justin ya im pretty sure it will be open but they are supposed to get more snow tonight/tomorrow, maybe they will be extra cautious so it might take a bit more time in the morning.

a skier got buried on the backside. they closed a lot of the mountain after that, then opened the front side for the rest of the day. patrol said he was fine. i think he got air lifted out, a chopper flew out of the backside pretty low.
