Yikes. The one with the Gull is a tad messed up. I would hope that if that Peregrine was a falconer's bird, they would have gotten in there to dispatch it...if that pic is real and not photoshopped, that gull likely died pretty soon after.
The backpack cam on that peregrine is pretty cool, but that bird isn't going nearly as fast as it could be if it was really after something. It's incredible the speed they produce, easily pulling upwards of like 19 Gs. You can actually hear the whistling from the speed of the stoop. Pretty freaking awesome.

That golden eagle pic is amazing - how much does one weigh? I saw one of a pair chasing a flock of ptarmigan
about 2500 m up a mountain a few years back. Pretty cool to watch, though it didn't get one.
