9won4 So I got my "riders choice" yesterday first impression I love the board. This is my first time riding any sort of rocker design. Edge to Edge transfer is effortless. I feel like this board makes me work a lot less. And allowed me to really bomb the mountain hard

The magnetraction def works. last night was mostly slushy with some ice patches. And although the "grabiness" of the board took some getting used to It ripped right through ice patches.

The only issue I had, is the board washed out on me a couple times on small jumps, feels like it doesn't stick landings as well as my cambered board (I guess It'll take some getting used to).

Also the board feels VERY Stiff. Was very difficult for me to press it, were as my artifact would just bend at will. (some have told me the board will "break in" Is this true??

All in all I am very happy with board and feels it is a great compliment to my artifact, I'll probably switch back and forth depending on mountains and conditions

9won4 So I ended up ordering this Riders choice

GNU Riders Choice C2BTX Snowboard 151.5cm | All Mountain Snowboards | SolsticeSupply.com | Board Shop

as I felt it had a decent price point, (hope I made a good choice). I guess my next question is I have a pair of Forum Republic Bindings, would they be a good match for this board?

I wouldn't mind picking up another set of bindings so I don't have to switch my bindings if I want to ride the artifact. Would there be a better set of bindings to couple with this board?

Thanks again guys

NoahO +1 to Basti and what he said about the Never Summer Evo, especially if you're looking to throw in a little more all-mountain riding. Speaking of a shorter board, I'll just throw the Burton Nug out there at you too. You could ride a Nug like 8cm shorter than your usual and from what I've heard they're surprisingly stable at high speeds. Oh and maybe take a peek at the Flow Quantum too. Good luck hunting man.

Anyway, I believe it changed it from BTX to C2BTX a season or 2 ago.
Yes, that's what I meant.......thank you for the clarification

Gnu riders choice or lib TRS over the banana/pickle. They are similar flex but have hybrid cambers.

Another good one to check out is the Rossignol Jibsaw, it has magnetraction and is a medstiff park board despite having the word "Jib" in the name. it is mostly camber with little tiny bit of rockered tips.

Another really cool board is the YES trouble, not quite as popular but yes makes cool decks, has a milder magnetraction than mervin.
Yes that's exactly what I'm looking for and my mistake, what I was actually looking for would be a board with the C2 Btx or similar tech (with mag). I'm going to take a good hard look at those boards suggested.

Are the Lib/Gnu boards as heavy as people make them out to be?

Any other suggestions are welcomed, and my buddy is hard selling me on Smokin boards, any feedback on their boards? not much comes up through searches.

Thanks a lot guys
