BrysonM Me and some buddies are heading up probably Thursday if the snow doesn't turn to shit from the rain storms on Wed. Any one going to be up there?

threej21 Just went to Cat on Wed, 100% open, new features in the park, no grass spots.

Since then they have blown more snow, so should be pretty ripe, def going again this week

The main lift "summit #1" is a bit slow, so we use the one between Easy Street and "Summit #1" (we call it the "Tiny Tim lift" cause its right next to the "Tiny Tim Connection" trail)...you loose about 20 yards on the run, but the lift is quite a bit faster, and goes to the top.
I agree with this. Sugar has done a good job this year and is almost 100% open unlike Beech. The only downfall to sugar is that they have no park. This year I have found if I want to ride some hills I go to Sugar and if I want to ride park I go to App. No good do it all hill this year.

Last I went they had a couple trails closed and some grass spots, but it looks like they got cold temps last week and blew snow like crazy, they are 100% open now.

they almost always have the park up and running, and just got some new features. so if your into park its a great time up there, especially evening/night, the park scene starts picking up with a lot of good riders.

anyway, I usually get about 30 days in at Cat each season and its always a good time. Do some cruising first part of day and lap the park for the rest.

Im going this wednesday for a full day, if you see a white jeep grand cherokee parked up front, ill gladly poor ya some vodka drinks
When i go, i always get their early for good parking and usually stay for whole day/night, so you can usually find me at the jeep making dranks or pbj's throughout the day on our lil breaks

oh yea, and its a 3 hour drive there for me as well, day trips are plenty worth it for that drive
