Nivek They wont be, those are both center revverse, which Signal doesnt do.

Nolefan2011 Nivek, I love Lib Tech but would hardly consider myself a fan boy. I have a Capita Ultrafear, Yes Optimistic, and a T Rice. Every Lib I have ridden does what I like in terms of dampening and edge to edge quickness. I also really like C2.

If you hate their marketing, fine. But they make good boards. I'm not partial. I've stated millions of times, I'm trying to find something I like better than my T Rice. Haven't found it yet. Have also stated I didn't enjoy the TRS or Attack Banana.

Look forward to trying a signal. But have to say, if it's anything like the Joystick or Hero, I'll dislike it...

Smokehaus Even though the heritage may be listed as a freestyle board, I did not feel that way. I would take the SL/Proto all day over it for all mountain/freestyle.

EDIT: Sudden beat me to it.

Why is the Heritage too much board in your estimation?
I think the freestyle part of the Heritage is a bit of a misnomer. It can rip most jumps and that but it more a hard charger. As far as rails and presses/butters go while possible it is a lot of work. For that reason I don't see the Heritage as a do it all all mountain freestyle board but more a flat out steep line and jump board. This is just my opinion though, I am sure the Heritage can be that board for other people. But like you said, the Proto and I still think the SL would be the NS boards more suited to do it all.

Nivek The Mervin fanboys are slackin. It's been almost 4 hours since my rant and no one has flamed me... odd

Smokehaus Heritage is going to be too much board for sure.

IMO the only area in which the Mervin boards are better than the Heritage is ice hold. Mangetraction is AWESOME on ice...but I find the Heritage to be more playful than the T.Rice I was riding before it...to me more of an all mountain/freestyle board.

Maybe we can cross the marketing argument against Lib Tech off the list since it appears every company is guilty....
The people hating on Mervin on here really crack me up. They make great boards, they have (arguably) sick graphics, they've pioneered alot of tech over the years....they're one of the best in my book. Doesn't hurt that they're local either.
