Coda1108 No, I haven't... unless you're talking about the Gazelle, which is one of the machines that is a subject of an infomercial by one of the exercise gurus out there. If so, I have in fact tried it and it does work well. Is that the one you mean?

MHJ I think it depends on what grabs your eye more. Snowboarding looked a lot cooler than skiing so I gravitated towards it

Coda1108 Oh Nooo... Don't boot me!!! ha-ha.

Cross-Country is some serious skiing! Quite a work-out. I used to play soccer, and during that time I was able to cross-country ski. Haven't done it in so long I think my muscles would burn so hot they might actually ignite!

rox depends the crowd you are with.
where i go there are alot more skiiers than snowboarders...

snowboarding seems to be more 'in' with people in their teens and twenties...

maybe the relation with skateboarding too...thats why alot of young people do it.

JTingly Really? Where have you thought of that? In my area, snowboarding is much "cooler" than skiing well for teens and young adults. I say skiing is for "old" or middle aged people, snowboarding is more extreme and i think its much more fun. But i dunno who thinks skiing is better than snowboarding.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Just wondering, it seems to me that skiing is more popular than snowboarding. Why do you think is skiing more popular than snowboarding?
