lernr Well - it sure was a nice day out there, too bad I had to leave around lunch.

Yes: there was new snow covering up the rocks, so I got a couple of scratches, not a big deal at all but I wouldn't bring my newest board because it could have been much worse. I heard several people complaining about braking over hidden rocks, you do the math

Yeah I wouldn't bring your nice board, there is fresh snow but there are areas where previously exposed rocks are lightly disguised and you might catch something in those areas. I definitely saw some new cuts in the bottom of my board today, it's my only board but its something I got dirt cheap on CL, so no worries for me.

Irahi Yup, about the same here.

The season that keeps on... seasoning.

Irahi They aren't open that often. Saturdays and Sundays only at this point, plus whatever holidays they manage to make it to.

Looks like we might actually get a pow day tomorrow, cross your fingers for more dumping tonight!

lernr I think I saw you last Sunday then - remember the jacket and pants

How the heck are you able to go every day they are open? Do you work there?
06-08-2012 06:21 PM
Irahi They'll be open much longer than just this weekend. Gauranteed through the 24th, probably longer if this ridiculously cold weather sticks around. The only problem is that they'll probably be shutting down Rex soon, which means you get to hike up from Green Valley any time you want to hit the lodge. Fun eh?

I'm there every day they're open, usually throwing myself off of the jump line that's scattered through lucky shot. Bright ass orange jacket, Bright ass green pants, can't miss me.

lernr Still not sure if I can make it but I hope so. And also hope that next weekend is open too

rgunzalez "Holy shit" is right. This is my first season of snowboarding, I became addicted and its been soooooo nice to still be riding at a resort. This might be the last weekend though, so I might have to start heading up to Mt. Hood.
