Hey Jac,

I know I'm resurrecting this post but curious to know what board you ended up getting your gf as I'm a small rider as well.

timmytard I had a Burton Hero last year, I thought it was awesome. Then I demo-ed a Rossignol Jibsaw.

In 23 years it was the funnest board I've ever ridden. I sold the hero right after.
After riding the Jibsaw, the Hero seemed pretty shitty.

Rossignol has got there shit together, Whatever mythical concoction they use to make AmpTek, it works really well.

Plus they too have Magne-Traction, the Tesla doesn't, but @ $160 that is a smokin' deal.

Many, get out of jail free cards there.

eclipse1018 if you are looking to do all mountain that is agressive in the park as well.. than check out the Eminence.. by Roxy.. its a specifically for women company that utilizes Mervin Technology "lib tech" so it has banana tech with magnetrction edges as well as a the almighty camber rocker camber profile that is buttery and poppy at the same time.. Its a mid flex board at 5.. soft enough to jib and press and stiff enough to attack the choppy stuff all over the mountain!

jac From reviews, value for money the limited sizing options and perrks of the board (the damened feel for her little legs) i think this sounds good for my Girl, the only thing i want to know is that this board will perform not only in the park but also as an all mountain board, can anyone back this up please ?

Clarion My girlfriend bought the Ride OMG a I got her the Ride Fame bindings for it. She loves the set up. 140 is the smallest size though.

Justin My wife had a forum star, it was soft so if your into big jumps i would look elsewhere but it was reverse camber and had a narrower waist width than most boards. She used it to learn on but doesn't ride park so i switched her to something else when she had more confidence. I think it comes in a 142, maybe smaller.

I think forum and burton have smaller waist widths than most companies so i would probably look there if your girl has small feet.
