The intelligence is in. It's a clusterfuck. It took the FBI, who was going to do the investigation, 3 weeks to get out to the site. They only spent a few hours. There were sensitive documents laying on the ground for days/weeks unprotected.
Obama criticized Romney for shooting first, and asking questions later. IF, and that's a big IF, If the white house was waiting for intelligence, why was John Carney and Susan Rice going out and telling people it was not a coordinated attack and was a spontaneous protest?
It wasn't, but even if we were to believe their lie, they jumped the gun if the intelligence isn't in yet.
Have you heard from Hillary lately? Not much. Benghazi is a clusterfuck. What is despicable is the White House's handling of this. From top to bottom.
Hillary is essentially in hiding.

There is also this. People outside of the intelligence community don't understand its nuance.

There have been more drone strikes than before. Guantanamo is still alive. Rendition is still alive. Tribunals are still alive.

It's not surprising. Three spontaneous riots? I've been sold lies before but you'd have to be completely hapless to buy this one. The cover-up is undoubtedly an effort motivated by timing (re-election). That said, it won't play much of a role, IMO.
What this does show is we need to recontour our international presence and remove embassies from countries that aren't strong allies. We spend monetary aid, military and diplomatic resources in countries where extreme fundamentalists will hate and try to injure people working there and where the aid gets siphoned off by corrupt despots masquerading as free governments. If the entire ordeal with Iraq and Saddam Hussein taught us anything over the past 60 years, it's that we have no business nation-building and policing the world. We just fuck it up in the end.
I'm not one to advocate government spending, but if we're going to spend money and efforts, let's at least do it domestically. We have shit to build here and a bordering country quickly accelerating toward chaos and paramilitary civil war.

So, this Benghazi cover up. What yall think about it? Comes out, that the Obama admin knew within hours there was possible Al Qaeda involvement. Yet 4 days later, John Carney and Susan Rice are out there lying to the American public.

Very dick'ish of the White House with all of this.
