I think Lake Louise is generally one of the safest bets. It's got a high base elevation, so it doesn't usually get the freeze thaw that the BC resorts get. Might not get as many big powder dumps as Fernie or Kicking Horse, or Revelstoke, but I have probably had my deepest days at Lake Louise.

You'll have a good time.

Justin Was at KH last weekend. No rain really on the hill, all just down in the town. Snow was still soft and not hard crust underneath. Don't know what it has done since the weekend.

Nakiska has been pretty bare most of the year, but I was there Sunday and Monday of this week and we got some fresh snow on top, there's fun to be had.

Doesn't look like there's much in the forecast for Lake Louise, but I don't think it's gone through as much of a freeze thaw cycle. Temps look like -3 all next week and some sunshine, so I'm sure you'll have fun. With temps like that it shouldn't be bulletproof everywhere.

Sorry there was a douche on the gondola I really don't think that's an Alberta thing. My GF's parents are racist as fuck (I'm embarrassed to be seen with them sometimes) and they're from Ontario. I was boarding alone today, entered one of the back bowls and saw a boarder sitting near the top with that "spooked" look to him. Headed over and said hi, he asked me a safe route down, I showed him where and said "have a good day". Oh yeah he wasn't white...

Have fun tomorrow!
Awesome, same thing happened to me today I got to the top of the goat and because it was a whiteout up there I couldn't tell where the blue run was so I asked a local and he told me to follow him and boarded all the way down with me... I guess there are bad apples everywhere but for the most part I've had a blast.

On a side note I already had probably 5 people come up to me in 3 days of boarding asking me about my DC devun pro
