Oh man, so many years it's hard to remember...
- First time I boarded at Fernie about 12 years ago. Unfortunately I smoked a lot of pot for about 4 years after that amongst other things so I don't remember it at all...
- I had an amazing day with my old university riding group a couple years back at Jay Peak... Only time I've ever rode with a group of people all roughly my level. Was a blast!
- May 6, 2012 at Lake Louise, bottom of the mountain was slush, top of the gondola was solid ice, thought it was going to be shit. Headed to the top of the platter and found the powder that never melted and refroze! Was riding in 12" deep powder down 100% slopes in May!!!
- Dec 19th 2011, was puking snow out, we were heading for Lake Louise but decided the roads were too bad, turned off and went to Nakiska "just to take a couple runs and see how it is"... Turns out there was 8" of fresh at the bottom and over a foot at the top, played all day in perfect fresh powder! Fantastic!
It's so tough to pick one day though. I used to have a blast with my friend at blue mountain a few years ago... Another day I was at Fernie when they finally opened the bowls after a 4 foot dumping of snow, another day I did 87 km on snow at Lake Louise, how do you pick a bestest!?!

|killclimbz||As deep as it looks. Probably in the 40" zone. That was definitely a top 5 deep day I've had anywhere. Pretty sweet that it was in Colorado. We don't get days like that very often.|

|NickShake||It was 2010. Whenever I went snowboarding it was always with my cousin, but that year he was deployed to Afghnistan. The month was December and I hadnt heard from him in atleast 2 months. This would be the first time since I ever started snowboarding that I wasnt going with my cousin. So my father and I ventured up to the mountain by ourselves. So when I got there I had already done a few runs when my dad told me to come back to the lodge. When I got back my cousin was there back from Afghanistan. Honestly, it was one of the greatest times Ive ever been out on the mountain just because he was there. It totally made the trip.|

I love the pictures with your dog (his name is Cody, isn't it?). You doing what you love, and him following what he loves (you).
My best day.... I don't know what year it was, but one of my best days ever was at Alpine Meadows about 10 years ago. We were somewhere in the back (looking at the map, it may have been the Scott chair) and there was NO ONE there. We were waist deep just riding the runs under that same lift all day long. Jumping off cliffs into the powder, etc.
Last year (being a shitty season) my best day was probably actually the day Breck closed. Again, no one was there (it was a Sunday) and Breck had gotten 8" overnight and it kept snowing. I had actually ridden there the day before too, and it was like 50+ degrees out, slushy snow, spring type day. Then the storm rolled through and I drove all the way back to Breck to hit it. Many face shots, even though there was low coverage at that point (couple of power turns had me scraping grass).

^ take me there please
my best day ever...that's really hard to think about because every time i go up im having a blast, and i cant really remember one specific day that was a mile above the rest, probably because I have had so many awesome days its just hard to name one. But an awesome day for me would be one of the ones where I have all of my close friends on the mountain with me, there is about a foot of fresh snow off trail, and we just ride all day long and everyone is killing it. One of the best days was also probably one where we hiked out of bounds a couple of times, because that's always a fun adventure and has some really cool riding. I have something brewing up for this season that will top everything else by that mile if it happens.

April 1st 2008 was a good one.
December 18th 2010 was pretty ridiculous
Last March didn't suck.
April 7, 2007 was memorable.
I'm not done with these sort of days yet...
