|neednsnow||If you must fly into Denver and you want a real Rocky Mountain ski experience you and her are going to have to suck it up and deal with the elevation. Winterpark and Keystone are probably your better/lowest bets. Can your vouchers get you to Salt Lake City? If so, many of the resorts within an hour drive of SLC have much lower elevations.....and IMHO a better ski experience.|

HELP ME HELP ME!!! Choosing a vacation destination
Alright folks I really hope I can get a lot of feedback on this one......I am planning a ski trip for my wife and I with some vouchers I have to fly to Denver for January. My wife and I have never been to Denver before, and my wife gets really whoozy from the high altitude areas.
So my question is..............Can someone suggest a mountain (cause I know there is several) that isnt too too far from the Denver airport (within 2 hour drive) and what I really need to know is can someone suggest to me a mountain that may not have as high of altitude as others? I know some of these Denver mountains are enormous and I have heard some aren't too bad so I am curious which ones would be best suitable for someone that has trouble in high altitude. Please any and all feedback would be very much appreciated. Thanks everyone.
