Can't mention dnb w mentioning sub genre jungle reggae. Can some pls post the utube link 'original nuttah' by shyfx. Diaries of a digital soundbwoy is a good shyfx album n some of the vocz are hhararmonies that lend a really nice complment to the sound. I'm typing on a shitty phone!
Shizou vs shizor if u like the fast tempo. Its digital hardcore n def deserves a curious listen. Check out the remake of the song heart of glass by blondie. He recently died from a heron od. Not trying to hijack this dnb thread but if u like fast tempo, check it out.

for me, good drum'n'bass is exemplified by the manipulation of breakbeats and usage of ideas from other forms of music rather than reliance on loudness and 'sick drops'. my favourite shit mostly came out of the full cycle/dope dragon crew from Bristol (Roni Size, Krust, Die etc) as well as Goldie's Metalheadz label and the True Playaz jump up stuff.
i could bang on about dnb/jungle for ages but tunes like this is what I'm talking about:
this is one of my favorite things to bomb down a hill to, dj zinc's dnb classics megamix. over 70 tunes crammed into 5 minutes!!!!
