Who knew a Burton could cause so much controversy?
Its a snowboard, its fairly stiff, its fast, its aggressive, we all agree on that right?
If that sounds like your particular brand of vodka, you should own one.

|SJ10||I've been on a CX the last few seasons, and even though I have other boards in the quiver it's still my favorite. The thing that makes the CX difficult to ride or adjust to is how you have to balance power with finesse. It requires aggressive riding to get the performance aspect but you'll have to be smooth and controlled as well. The CX is very rewarding if you can find that point but like the others said it won't be any fun if you can't.|

If you like to charge hard i would go for it..
We sound like were around the same ability level and if i didn't hurt my knee a month ago i would buy it without a doubt..
And you can apparently still play around on it ^^ 2014 snowboarding Ultimate Buttering / Flatland - YouTube..

|mike9998||And by wondering if its a smart idea I was just looking for some feedback on the board before I go spend 1000+ on a setup, I know it's a completely different type of board that I'm used to but I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to handle it|

If you're wondering if it's a smart idea, it's prooooobably not the best board for you. That being said, do what you want, you'll be able to adjust.
Adjusting and having fun on something are two different things though.

I rode my brothers "x" for a day and found it to be an extremely fun board. Fast, stable and very poppy. That being said, I have been riding for over twenty years, in all kinds of conditions.
It was still a deck that was capable of scaring me, if you do not ride it like you mean it, it will toss you, and you will not get the most out of it.
Like one guy said....its a board you KNOW you want, if you question it, prob don't need/want that one!
