|Fiziks||I got that problem A LOT too. Sometimes the cramping was so bad it would almost ruin my day because I would have to take a break and take my boots off. To me it usually happens the worst when the boots are new and I cranked them down too hard. I have super flat feet too, so I would sometimes even put a different footbed into my boots to help with relieve some of the pain. Footbeds definitely help, but as someone mentioned above, sometimes I ride a few runs early with them loose, then start to crank them down as my feet get warmed up and used to the boots.|

|jeephreak||Thin socks and some better insoles. I have superfeet in my new 32s. like wearing slippers. you have to ease into them and let your feet get used to them little by little.|

|super-rad||My feet cramp up horribly for the first 2 or 3 runs of the day, and then they are fine the rest of the day. Usually I will loosen up my boots a bit in the morning, and then tighten them later in the day once my feet have adjusted. I feel like this probably just due to not riding enough, but maybe it could be corrected with proper insoles. I just won a pair of shredsoles from Shay, so maybe I will find out soon|

|KIRKRIDER||I had a similar problem...went from B Moto to Burton Driver X, tried them on at the shop and they were fitting perfectly. No more pain at all. Thin socks!|

I'm still pretty new, but anytime I stort to get cramps in my feet, I re evaluate my boots and bindings..
Yesterday I noticed my front foot was sore after a break in the lodge, and my strap was way to tight i must have cranked it too many times, I let it off a bit and the pain went away.
I also notice that my burton Moto's become a bit looser during a day, I tighten them way up and they seem to 'loosen' a tiny bit during the day to where I like them.
Just my experience, some guys here will know more

I have flat feet too. Read my post in this thread and let me know if your pain was similar to mine.

Me: 5'11", 170 lbs. Size 9 boot.
I'm currently on my third year using Ride Jacksons.
Logged day number four of the season this past Sunday (I ride the northeast, not as lucky as you western-folks). My feet, especially in the mornings, were KILLING me. Lots of crampy, achy feelings. In both feet.
I'm flat footed, if that means anything. The Jackson's have the BOA system, but only the single "dial." I like the system, but I've found the if I don't tighten it enough, I get heel-lift after a couple of runs. But if I really crank on the dials, the cramping is worse, obviously. It's very hard to find that "sweet spot" and even if I do, I have to re-tighten the BOA after a couple of runs anyways because they loosen up.
I'm the type of dude that can push past this annoyance and keep riding but I'm getting tired of it. I've felt this in the past but its definitely worse this year. Is it time for new boots? Or insoles?
I guess I kind of answered my own question and I should get new boots, but just wanted to see what you guys thought. Is this a boot issue or are my feet muscles still getting warmed up to riding?
