that dakine is the lowest end edge tuner available...it only does the sides.
if you really want to polish the base edge (it's rarely necessary) on the cheap, you're gonna want to use a standard long file with the end wrapped in tape for a bevel (you want to avoid scraping the p-tex as much as possible). Instructions are toward the end of this video:

|Zolemite||Looks like there is a lip under the stone. Maybe you grip the top and slide it up or down the edge. Only go in one direction.|
