Effect so you agree what 163cm Wide is better for me?

K2 regular board flex - 4
K2 Wide board flex -7

soft is better for start, but with my shoes I can go only for wide board

it's ok ?

yojik I'm about 15lbs heavier than you but we are the same height and size 13 boot, so ill offer up my opinion.

I think it really depends on your riding style and stance width...below 160 usually tends to be softer than above 160 on the exact same board, so a 159 will be more forgiving at the expense of speed, stability, and a locked in feel.

If you have a wide stance (25+) then a 159 will feel even softer when initiating turns and general riding.

The benefits of a larger board become apparent the better you become.

Lastly, a 159 will have a smaller waist width so you'll definitely want a 159W to accommodate your boots.

I'd recommend 162W at the low end and 164W+ if you are a strong, athletic 220lbs.

Effect Yes man, I'm beginer I just firstly buy boots and now time for the other stuff

But K2 Brigade is only 159W or 163W. If I want 161W i need to chose another board.

I Read a lot of forums and ppl talk what K2 Brigade is very good board for beginers. Or Solomon Grip, but price is bigger

I spend a lot of time for searching...

charles_r_cox I started on a wide longer board. I would recommend the 163 of the two, but you could always split the difference and get a 161. I think stability is more important for a beginner.

Wait are you a beginner, I just saw you already have some boots?
