Otherwise, you should look into making a little tow rope if you really want to be serious about it. heck maybe even some snowmaking.

Talking about $2k though for the rope, the motor and gearbox, the pulleys and the hold downs, and then for the compressor and pressure washer to put it all together to have a 1-2 person lift and snowmaking. Snowmakers are loud also and being in Greensburg, they do have sound ordinances if you are in the town proper. Heck may even need a permit to do what you are doing. Now if you are out in the country a bit. No one is going to give a damn or I should say, it's to be expected to see ATV's running around. Just wear orange on your helmet though. The locals might mistake a fast moving brown object as a dear!
Yeah we can definitely get away with an ATV where I live. One side of the yard is a golf hole at a course I work at, and the other side is a neighbor that used to have an ATV. I'm not doing shit for new years eve so if you want to get some jumps and jibs in let me know.

One good thing is cross county skiers use it and pack it down more, yay!

que Thanks. Honestly, the backyard is almost perfect. Theres even a nice steeper section for landing off the kicker. It like drops off I guess. If anyone lives in the area and wants to check it out, you're welcome to!

ChiTownRon Nice. You have a huge backyard! Wish I could do something like that but I live in an apartment. So that's definitely not going to happen. haha.
