I was searching on here for about a half hour. But I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced that specific problem, as I wasn't exactly sure whether or not the pain I had was being described by others. My bad, though.

jml22 When i first started learning my feet would burn by the end of the day.
Just went away as my feet got stronger and boots got broken in.
If i do them too tight still it hurts like hell.

freshy I had some 32 boots that did that, I reckon they were just too skinny for my feet.

Ciap I had to same prob with some new nike kaiju this weekend. I bought some new insoles and heat molded the liner at my local shop. Now the boots feel great and the problem is solved.

By the end of today, the bottoms of my feet were BURNING...what to do?

In new Nike Zoom Force 1's, I was wearing them around the house yesterday and they were making my outside toes go a bit numb and the bottoms of my feet were in a little bit of pain. But since they fit great in the shop, and I didn't break them in yet, I proceeded to wear them out today. I could deal with the numbness, but less than a couple of hours later, the bottom of both feet were sore (the bottom towards my toes). Took a break, took the boots off, and the pain went away basically right way. And the pain seemed to go away while riding. Fast forward a couple of hours later and the pain was burning and pretty unbearable unless I was riding...which didn't help me because the lines were rediculous.

Is this typical for brand new boots that haven't been broken in? How long should I break them in for? At what point do I give up, try to recoup some money, and get another pair? Are there any other options, inserts, maybe?
