MikeCL Went in as soon as they opened, well they had 1 left in stock of the L/XL.. so they get the box down and only one binding in the box lol.. So I took the display model nevertheless that's done with.

Check the company, in some bindings you might be a large. Some bindings you might be a medium. For example, Rome's just have Sm/M or Large/Xl.

MikeCL Time to go pick up the bindings tomorrow.. So if my boot size is 10.5 I need to be looking at the Large right? I'm going to bring the boots to just be sure since I have the thing saying I'm in between the sizes.

Any Union binding will be more then just "ok", they'll work just fine for beginners and when/if you get good you won't have to switch them out, that is, if you don't mess them up before you get good.

don't u know this is a NS+UNION fan boy forum??

if i'm u i'll go with the union. Not that Ride is not good, but metal bindings looks awesome but i prefer other materials when it comes to bindings

Union, Rome, Burton, Flux, and Raiden are the companies I would look at.

I haven't heard much of anything bad about union at least outside of here but searching here people seem to like Ride better? Any reason to this? For a noob like me did you all mount your bindings yourself or had a shop mount them? I know my stance is a regular.

I'm going to pick my boots up today and the bindings next week.
