ok ok....

so you all probably don't knowwww......buuut

I'm a

my theory is that most women aren't into a lot of technical stuff
like guys are.

I'm not like most

bring on the techy fingernail polish for me, thanx
and MAN can I take a hit bailin' on a that I want to though.

I even built my own rope tow, built both of my turf drops and can
quad skate my ass off!!.....hahaha!!

i'm pretty my type of chick is probably all you're gonna find on here. Unfortunately, my type is very

not tootin' my horn, but i'm glad I'm not like the girly girls.

now, bring on the ribbing and jousting,...I can take it and dish it out too!
but I love ya's like you's my bro's.....

you're probably lucky the girly ones aren't piled ceiling high in here...
you have enough drama to deal with without them around.....hehehe

firstx1017 Wow, 27 pages on this thread - and I read them all!

I never saw this post back in January 2013. I lurk here for help during snowboard season, and don't venture much in the off season - too busy hiking, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, waterskiing and camping. Getting excited to start snowboarding again next month so headed back to this forum and found this thread. I'm way older than Mixie but love to read the banter between Chomps and her! lol

None of our friends board or ski as they are all haboring injuries of some sort (or just their excuse not to do anything physical - they ALL have some sort of physical problem to prevent them from skiing/snowboarding). Our kids aren't interested either so is just the hubby and myself every weekend at Snow Summit. No grandkids yet either - so can't even try to get them to come with us!

Love to read Jennifer's posts and hear her progressing and rooting for her to keep trying! Bring on the snow!!!!

I have been gone because well. 1. it's summer. 2. I have been doing home improvement at a breakneck pace 3. I bought a(nother) house

So I have been concurrently trying to fix up my current house, deal with inspections and escrow on a new house which is a total fixer i.e. LOTS of inspections. However I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I had a professional photographer at my house today and it's hitting the market friday. I will have the keys to the new place next thursday and we're moving next weekend.

of course this happens when I have an extremly busy strech of work...ten days in a row without a day off. Ten very loooong days, too. Actually, it's good Ive been busy...I packed up most of shit and moved it into storage 2 weeks ago so it's not like I have anything else to do but work or work on the houses!!

So ready for it all to be done already.

However my very favorite ski resort announced kids under 12 ski for free next year. hehehehe, that will guarentee me a ski trip fo sho. My non boarding and cold hating SO has an 8 year old. I am sure he will want to ski/ it will be 2 against 1 in favor of a ski trip.
cheers mixie.

MarshallV82 I tried to get my 13 year old nephew interested in boarding, he tried for two hours after his lesson and whined. I had to leave early.. He prefers Call of Duty.
I just don't understand how you wouldn't enjoy it. When I learned I remember I closed the hill down everyday for a few weeks!

It seems like we're getting more and more women on this forum every year. I rode with some girl that worked there as a bartender last year, she could shred! I was expecting another terrible date on the hill spending my day going slow on groomers trying not get mad.
