ARSENALFAN Sorry if you posted it somewhere (quick read) but with Yeti feet like that you need a snowboard that is x-tra wide. This will be noted by the size (for instance 159W meaning wide.

kadamczyk Me too.

First serious snowboard. I think I'm more excited about the magne traction. Main reason I went with this board. Everyone I know that has it, loves it.

that1guy Looks ok to me from the pics. The small amount of over hang u have is abou the same as my set up. Hope u like the board. It is awesome for landing big jumps.

kadamczyk Here is a shot of the high-back.
Again, couldn't get it to get parallel with the board like I wanted.

I'm +12/-12 btw.

kadamczyk Here how I have everything set up currently.
Comments welcome.

Ended up with the Ride EX XL bindings, the large foot bed was under the ball of my feet and felt weird. However, on the XL's I did have to bring the heel cup forward.

Struggled with the high-back rotation. Ended up just leaving it centered.

What do you guys think?
Overhand isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

kadamczyk Ended up with Exus Thirty Two's size 12. Minimal toe/heel overhang! So happy. I'll post some picks.

I bought some new Ride EX XL bindings and I debating about getting them in a L. Honestly I think my XLs are too big (lot of extra strap), but the toe of the boot is close to the end of the wedgie. This is my first set of bindings with a wedgie, so I'm curious if going down to a large is going to impact my ability to carve hard (as my toe will be further from the end of the wedgie). I've also got about an eighth of an inch of space between the binding and the boot (strapped in).

I guess the real questions is... is it better to be on the high end or low end of the sizing range (L vs XL) for bindings.

that1guy I have a 2013 rc 162w. I wear a size 12 Nike vapen boot. I also have a 2010 rc 158w. With the older board I had a little bit of toe / heal drag. That is why I went up I size on this board. I am not sure about trying to do a set back stance on this board as it is a twin. It is mostly designed for u to be centered on the board. The one thing I noticed is that my boots have a pretty large footprint so on the smaller board if I was traversing steep terrain, my overhang would cause me to dig In to the snow and stop me. With the 162w I don't have that problem.

Might try to look for a super low profile boot in your situation.

kadamczyk Presh. I'm thinking about setting my stance back. i've always rode at at 10 degrees. maybe 12 will and and set back will help. Anyone anyone every stacked they bindings...? just curious on options. I have ride bindings with the wedgie, and I'm wondering if that will help. Just cant cant bring myself to get a wide.

Input from larger riders is appreciated.

Weipim congrats on the gnu RC.

I have a 154.5 with a size 10.5 K2 t1db. I dont see any toe drag though. another thing is if your boot have srinkage tech, then you may be fine with 12 on a 157.5 rc. one thing important is that if you centered your boots before you worry about toe hang, and also just tweak 3 degrees off your binding settings may change something, also try a slightly wider stance?

i think you can get away with a pair of 12 on 157.5 but again, please tweak them before making any radical decision

Question for GNU 2013 owners

Been browsing for a while - lot of good info on this forum.

I'm 6'2 180lb with a size 12 boot.

Board - GNU 2013 Riders Choice 157.5
Bindings - Ride EX XL
Boots - Thirtytwo Prion

Bought a 157.5 GNU Riders Choice board ($350 - such a steal). I'm having a little concern about the size (width) of the board and hang on the boots. I'm just curious if anyone else with this board (and possibly size 12 boots) has had any issues with a larger boot. I've always had 11/11.5 boots - but foot has stretched out.

Any thoughts, or tips (maybe move my setup degree) would be helpful.
