Nivek Sure, extruded bases can be slow.

midnightcaper My neighbor has a ride with groves running from tip to tail and it's super fast or maybe I'm just slow lol

Zolemite Yea, I'm really not sure, but I had 4 boards last year, 3 the same size and the DC Ply was so slow my friends were complaining about a free ride lol

Nivek Sounds like a base material issue. Not a structurn issue.

Zolemite Hmm.. I let 3 of my friends ride it and including myself and that board was way last. I also noticed the wax wore off the edges faster as after every ride the edges were white already.

Nivek Structurn is purely a structure put into the base in a last step of manufacturing. You could technically put structurn on any base on the market if you had the machine.

Does it do much? Not really, I think it accelerates a little quicker, but conditions are going to play more of a factor than structurn makes.

structurn base

I thought it was fine for one day after waxing. I rode with my friends on my other boards with the same wax, waxed at the same time and it was far behind. I owned an 12-13 DC Ply 159. Overall I didn't like it and neither did any of my friends.
