Lots of snow in the alpine and glades.
Some days were foggy and we hit the glades, but on bluebird days the alpine was great. Some of the best terrain parks we have seen although we are just learning park. They had a mini-pipe and a super pipe.

It was fun at the end of the day to go down the village from the alpine because as the temperature increased we would go from riding powder to slush to icy/packed powder back to slush at the village. It made for a fun last run before hitting the bars.

Great spring riding for sure. And the mountain was 100% open except on those days when it was windy or there was a big storm and they close the alpine.

mitch19 April is a good time, was a really nice month last season from memory. Whistler mountain will stay open until the end of Telus festival and then Blackcomb will be open till generally end of May-ish

Whistler Blackcomb in April

Would you even think of going to Whistler at the start of April?

We're looking at going for a week or so, don't mind if it's a bit slushy after midday but it has to be worth it (Both mountains appear open until the 21st, given conditions approve)...

Thoughts? Anyone been there at the time in recent years and would recommend it again or stay away?
