Optikal_Illuzion I tried hitting up the park once. It was a very cold day and not a lot of people so I though this would be a good opportunity to check it out and try some stuff. There were only 5 or 6 people in the park who rode as a group. I come in and start a conversation, asking questions about features, letting them know its my first time in the park ect etc. They actually all waited up top and gave me an all clear to have it all to myself. I only did a rail and attempted a jump, didn't realize it was so high and bailed on the landing. Got back up right away and rode down the side checking out the rest of the features. Met a couple of them at the bottom and thanked them for their coolness.

I know its not a bad park experience but I just wanted to share

Oh and P.S- sounds like skiers need leashes

MistahTaki I was going down a trail lost my edge and slid down the hill really fast on my belly. Took out a boarder standing in the middle of the trail like a bowling pin. that was a pretty embarrassing moment but a funny one.

Yeah, the guy's an id-jut! Through the pipe you complete your run and get the F out of the way. If you're on a jump/rail or other feature, you complete your trick and move on or way off to the side (to show those above that you're not lying in a heap below the feature).

I don't get why this isn't common sense for everyone that rides through a park! Although I came over a lip the other day on on of my usual runs, and there's a guy standing just a couple feet off my line, RIGHT IN THE LANDING ZONE. He was invisible from above, and there he is just being a tourist. I've got it all on video...

Banjo I had an interesting incident tonight and I'm not sure if i was right or wrong, BUT some guy was leading a group of kids...maybe 5-6 year olds, all beginners. he takes them THROUGH the halfpipe (which was quite painful to wait out) they finally all get through so i booter in. I got 6-7 hits and in the air on my last hit, I see they are still all stopped (8 people) at the end, forming a line in the middle of the exit. I carve hard and narrowly go around them. I stopped and said "The bottom of a halfpipe is a terrible place to stop a group" the guy says "its actually the best place to stop, you should exit out the side" like im gonna take my last hit and jump the wall....? I let it go cause there were kids around, but seriously the best place to stop?

Sincraft my resort is a comedy routine of young kids and young teens hitting features using the Japanese subway car entry method. Everyone rush to the feature, cram in and ram into everyone to get in. Usually there is a slushy landing after the first feature...that's from all the warm bodies JUST LAYING THERE

It's not uncommon to see 15 people above the rail, 5 at the same time dropping in, 3 or 4 on the rail at the same time with 6-8 laying on the sides or bottom of the rail.

tdn I called my buddy out last weekend because he dropped in almost immediately after someone else... I told him he should have waited because the kid who dropped in before him was obviously a beginner and could have spilled on the landing. 20 minutes later, I drop in right after the buddy I just called out.. he face planted, and I came in over him. Moral of the story is, is that I'm a hypocritical asshole.

Donutz One of my skier rants late last year was caused by a moron^H^H^H^H^Hskier who just decided to cut across the jump line between the ramp and the knuckle, just as I was setting up. I expressed my opinion loudly and aborted the approach. Don't know if he subsequently grew a brain or not, but no-one was hurt.
