Big Foot I ended up doing a beach day at Abasin on Saturday. Traffic was really bad coming up at 5:30AM, and the lower lot was full by 7:45AM, but there were no lift lines at all the whole day. And traffic coming back at 3:00 was non-existent. I could not have asked for a better day on a holiday weekend. There was even still powder to be found.

NickinCO Steamboat is insane, longest lines I've ever seen. Gondola line all the way to Christy. Still found untracked snow all day. People love those groomers...

KansasNoob I did the math and where I was in Colorado from the 2nd to the 12th got nearly 6 feet of snow. 4 feet at Copper alone this week and last weekend. This was on Monday after 3 days of accumulation.

In all, I spent most of the trip on the Derby. My white helmet is covered in gunpowder residue from riding through where they blasted the previous day. Never had a better trip.

I'm actually a little scared !!! Not kidding. All this snow, tree wells, my board so many new variables. I will stay in bounds and only with a guide that knows what they are doing and if they think my skill will allow me off groomers. 'I want to come home ......

BA I"ll send you a pm if you with my info if your willing, available and tolerant of a old guy that know nothing
I'm not turning PM's on that's opening the floodgate. Shoot me an email if you need to avran@angrysnowboarder.com. I'm thinking of shooting over to the Basin on Monday as it shouldn't be too busy for MLK Monday.

Snow's good boys. Shit that's normally 20 feet for a drop is like 5 right now up there.

Found an article that said Canadian Back Country. Doesn't specify where though. If he's from Whistler I'd have to assume in that neighborhood.

16gkid Breck was a lot of fun today, super soft snow and not too busy. Had a lot of fun getting used to my super wide Donek, best carving board I've ever had, able to get super low and not too shabby in pow, debating heading to beaver creek tomorrow or back to Breck to ride a few laps with Ryan knapton

linvillegorge Probably Tahoe. They've had like 10 feet recently. That's what 10 feet of "powder" rides like out there. Shit ain't call "Sierra cement" for nothing.

killclimbz The person is from Whistler, so I assume it is around there. Looked like great weather. Good thing his Jet Force pack was in working order.
