dr.glove i feel ya on the trying to support home based companies... but as far as k2 goes... i love their boards, it sounds crazy that china makes a half way decent product but they nailed it on the boards... ive had two darkstars and one triple w and have had no complaints so far. if your gunna go with the www go with this years because last years didnt have much reverse camber in it as opposed to this years. and as far as the signal park rocker i would love to give that thing a round but it just seems toooooo damn flexy and almost scares me that it will be unstable.

twin89 i'm thinking of getting a signal park serires but i am tempted to get a rocker www cause the pressing ease, but i dont want a board from china, and i live in socal and wana support local stuff.

is the park series close to as ez to press and butter as the k2 www rocker?

(plus, the signal is cheaper and looks way better lol)

Amen brother!

I also agree with Sedition, the Artifact is a floppy son of a bitch and if you happen to land on the tail just wrong that thing folds in half under your weight. I weigh 175ish and have a 153 artifact and that thing gets crazy under me at times. I'd look at a larger board if I was you man.

Anor The signal is much softer. The Signal Park Series is one of the softest boards on the market. It still has good pop and is super light too. I like it because I was about to go from 148 to 150 for more stability and it's not much different on rotations because of the light weight. Signal makes some really nice boards for all styles of riding too. Omni is a sweet shred deck. I love my park series though.

I'm 160lb and 5' 7" as well. If that info helps. 147 sounds way too small for someone 170lbs. It might be cool for rails and jibbing, but it won't cut it as an all round deck. I have a 147 Ride Kink and it's sketchy at high speeds.
