How would it affect performance if I bought a 156 or 158 wide board? My feet are size 9.5-10 but I've noticed that wide boards are recommended for feet sz'd 11.5 and up.
I totally thought 156cm would've been too small. I'm going up in a CAT in March but they're going to have Burton powder boards to ride for free so I was thinking of all all mountain / freeride board that was at least 160cm. From all your comments, sounds like 156cm would work just fine.

Im 6'0 and 175 and I ride a 156, even thinking of stepping down to a 154 but I feel like that might be too small.
I throw around my girlfriends 148 in my room because her bindings fit around my shoes

|RomeBeta32||I am 5'11" 160lbs, and ride a 158. It does good in the park, good in the powder. Some days I wish I had a shorter board for jibbing. Thats why I am going to save up and buy a jib stick.|

|legallyillegal||Planning on inbounds pow riding? 156 is a little pushing it, but doable.|

|RomeBeta32||Since you ride groomers and backcountry, I'd go with the 158. Just because its longer and would go through powder better than the shorter board.|

forum grudge size
I'm interested in buying the forum grudge.
I'm 5'10 180lbs, what size should I get? 156 or 158? longer?
My last board is OLD... it's a 164cm Rossi Rocal that's a decade in age... I'm due.
I'm also thinking about a Burton T6 or Idiom.
I typically ride groomers, through the park the odd time but rarely backcountry.
Any other recommendations appreciated,
Thanks in advance
