Sweet! Time to start signing up for summer sports soon... I've met a lot of people in the city. More friends here than after living 29 years in Ontario.

Always good to get a rough idea. You see a small section of road, but it might be the worst section in the city. So just trying to compare my different options.

Funny enough, I checked with google traffic. I see two red sections on 17ave

Looks like u can use the transcananda, should be decent.

From my limited experience 17ave to chestermere was terrible, always some kind of jam going once it goes to the SE.

When I moved out, we stayed in a furnished short term rental for 3 months. It was $1600 a month near McKnight and the Deerfoot. Great spot for learning your way around the north end of the city. I think they allow month to month rentals with 30 days notice.

aiidoneus Ya, ideally like to only rent for a few months. But I think the best case will be 6 months, and not many places like a lease that short even.

Yeah I'd think Chestermere or Airdrie would be about the same commute to that area.

If you're renting first no big deal anyway... I'd try to get a 6 month lease instead of a year, as you might want to buy sooner than later.
