Oh yeah! While it's full on spring at lower elevation...

...high up all the snow missing the early season fell in the last weeks. This week again... 50cm of fresh. Took the day off today cos it was a bluebird and soooo worth to skip a day in the office to get first chair n ride endless deep cold fluffy pow

SO now as well found his favourite custom board version

This time we went to Titlis. Also there you've a great scenic view. In the background is a great touring region, with a touring hub cabin in the foreground

That was our playground today. All lift accessed freeride area, one run equals to 4000ft verts! A very nice local skier we met on the chairlift showed us all the goods we wouldn't have dared to go to cos we weren't familiar with the mtn. Lucky us!

Well now... that was now the last day for my season. There's still more snow in the forecast, but no resort in reasonable distance is open anymore. Was a great season ending!

Again on Schilthorn. The scenery doesn't get old...

Oh... btw... 'twas the 2nd day on the test custom build board, the 156 long 23.9cm narrow camber deck which carves so great... she's also a blast in pow! Even - or especially - in heavily rutted stuff. soooo... sorry @F1EA ... I really don't need a "pow" board

I so love these late season days. Ride pow till afternoon, get down to the valley and sit in the garden in a t-shirt in warm spring conditions. Can't beat such days!

We're getting some snow for tomorrow, but will likely be foggy as it was today.

Well what you got as custom is probably what I was referring to as a pow board than carved. There's tons of those and they are rad.

I have 2 boards sort of like that. They do everything and it's what I ride the most :
Duoraz and Landlord. Both great on groomers and carving, both pow boards. D better on bigger faces and LL better in trees. But overall.... I can pack either to any trip and it'll do; then bring a Fish in case I get lucky with 30cm+

BoardieK Yeah, I can see from the angle it's not the Lauberhorn now.

My wifes first ski lesson was on the Lauberhorn, she kept looking for the blue runs down, haha! (Famous for its World Cup Downhill race).

This is a photo looking down on the Lauberhorn from the top of the Jungrau railway station. In my previous post the Lauberhorn is the foreground peak and the station is on the col hidden by the Lauberhorn, that shot was taken from just above top right in this photo. The cog railway leaves Kleine Scheidegg station (this photo, bottom right) goes through the north face of the Eiger, hangs a u-ey, goes under the Monch and ends at the Jungfrau at 11,000ft. It's over 100 years old, gotta hand it to these Swiss when it comes to tunnels under mountains.

neni Schilthorn.

Wow, that's an incredible bargain pass price! Since Saas Fee launched a dumping price pass last year, it seems to stir pricing politics up. I hope we will see something similar in the near future in our region. As season pass holders, we get day passes half priced in some resorts collaborating with out home mtn... but it's nothing compared to that Magic Pass...

BoardieK Lauberhorn? Nice view of some real mountains.

We've just bought a "Magic Pass" 2018 season ticket for Western Switzerland, a bargain at CHF359 ($361), unfortunately it doesn't include the Jungfrau ski region.

Can't wait.
