Siren Thanks, I'll post it there as well.

We're coming from Toronto & it's just a day trip, so I'm afraid VT is out of the question. Would love to hit Jay Peak & White Face some other time, though!

baldylox There is an active CNY / WNY thread in the 'Meets" subforum. You'll have more luck there.

EDIT: http://www.snowboardingforum.com/mee...2010-mini.html

Depending on where you are it might make more sense to head to northern NY / VT. Whiteface / Jay Peak

Siren Resurrecting this thread...

We're coming down from Ontario (1 expert skier, 2 int boarders, 1 novice boarder). Which would you recommend, Bristol Mtn or Holiday Valley?

Thanks for any input!

Suburban Blend Holiday Valley is open till 10pm also. 700 vertical and a couple of steep ones too. High speed lifts, great lodges, terrain parks and party town.

bobepfd There's a bunch of places in WNY. You can check out the WNY/CNY meets thread for more info. I have a pass to Kissing Bridge in Colden, it's a smaller resort but still very good imo. Kissing Bridge - Western New York Snowboard & Ski Slopes. Also there is Holiday Valley in Ellicotville, Holiday Valley | Home. They are probly the main Buffalo area resorts. Towards Rochester there is Bristol Mntn, the largest vert in WNY 1500'. And Swain, um no quick plug for these guys I've never been there nor done much research on them. Lemme know if you're planning on hitting up one of these places as I go out about twice a week lately.
