Are you sure about that?

When the lightbox ops off, it loads the entire page in the background. To see the individual links loading, right click and "open link in new tab"

Things are going really well - we will be looking for some beta users of the site soon.

The right side of the links-screen is white, so I would add a simple bar in there with links to other videos (or other stuff) or a rank of videos maybe. It would be usefull to use this space in your advantage so it would be easier for the surfer to guide them trough the side.

good luck with it, the content looks awesome

well, first off (i'll chalk this up to it being a rough site) a lot of the links don't work. (i.e. the second link, "Snowfall Opens All Four Lake Wanaka-Area Ski Fields " returns "Error! Sorry! Bad arguments passed to API function", "pirate slams" returns "The page you requested was not found") maybe it's just coincidence, since some of the others seem to work, but those were the first two i clicked, which, were it not in beta, would be an instant turn off.
EDIT: I checked more of 'em, the majority do work, i guess it was just bad luck... Guess that just proves my point about an instant turn off, eh? ^_^

the home page has some cool pics... but there's nothing to tell you what your looking at. if you're going for the requiem for a dream "you figure it out" type site, fine... but that seems a bit odd for what appears to essentially be a news site.

Overall (and i'm sure you'll still have lots of work going) it feels like a clunkier version of digg for snowboarders. though i will give you that you did an RSS feed, which means I'd probably drop this into my subscriptions. (assuming i didn't get bad links) As it stands, I probably wouldn't use anything but the feed. (oh, and add descriptions to the feeds, a lot of the headlines are pretty vague.)

Default scaled movies in links tab

Another thing which is annoying (but I guess difficult to solve). If you press play on a movie in the links section, then the movie is bigger as the screen you watch it in. So you have to shift bars all the time (or press full-screen which I don`t want to do@work )
P.e. The movie in the bottom right corner of the links section (I think I used this one) had this problem.

I think it would benefit from perhaps an explanation on there of what the site is supposed to be. Or what MTNOPS means. You have some really cool pictures on the fron page. I love the dogtag with your webaddress on it!
